Distributed version of BioSimGrid
The distributed version of BioSimGrid is primarily intended for sites wishing to join the main BioSimGrid system, although it is technically possible to configure one's own distributed BioSimGrid using this system.
If you wish to join the existing BioSimGrid network, then please contact either Mark Sansom (mark@biop.ox.ac.uk) or Jonathan Essex (J.W.Essex@soton.ac.uk) for further information.
Please note that there will be no support for people setting up their own distributed BioSimGrid.
The distributed version of BioSimGrid requires your site is running Oracle 10g and SRB version 3.3. Note that firewalls (where appropriate) must allow inbound and outbound access on ports 1521 and 5544 for BioSimGrid to function correctly.
